Yes it is an odd one.

Effectively is a 5% discount. So a little bonus if you were already going to fly, but not enough to make you splurge or bring forward a trip.

I can't really understand the logic behind it.

QF have permanent discount of 2,500 pts off redemptions made online. All in the positioning.....

That statement really diluted their offer so much that I thought it was rude to make it sound so good ie "Save 20%" but to find in the small font that it was the way it is.
