Hey guys, last year during the Qantas devaluation, i booked some MH flights from sydney to KL via business, But my final destination is meant to be BKK. I havent booked that leg yet but i was told (by someone on this forum) I can make a separate booking via MH from KL to BKK and that in Sydney they will be able to ensure that my bags are checked in all the way through from sydney to BKK, is that correct? Will they also be able to give me the tickets for the KL to BKK leg from sydney itself?
I am just wondering how much time i should have in between my flights in KL just in case i need to check out and check back in again at KL or if they will definitely be able to check me all the way through. What would people recommend as a safe amount of time to have in between flights? I am also doing this on my return from BKK to KL and then KL to syd via Mel.
