Hey,
I recently flew out to Australia to spend a year here and registered with Qantas for their FF programme. As I flew out BA I have been granted Qantas miles as they are one world partners but can I also claim BA miles or is that being greedy?!

G'day scottishlass, welcome to AFF. :D

Greedy it might be; only you can answer that!

As for attempting a double claim; if you do so is unlikely to be successful. BA will know you have had the points credited to QFF and will want them reversed out before they may consider crediting to BAEC.

That would be a errrr.... no.
The only situations you can usually double claim is when you were say flying BA and they due to issues with aircraft for example purchased you an LH ticket, then you maybe still able to get credit for your BAS flight into BA FF, to do this you would ask for an ORC or "original routeing credit" and then because LH is a different alliance you could probably claim those miles as well since they wont share info :)
