I have an Air Namibia (SW) flight on one booking reference number. This is lined up with an EK booking so I can fly from WDH to BNE. I've been told by the agent that made the booking that EK won't deal with 'smaller' airlines in terms of putting it all on the one reference number.

my hope is that the agent at check in can (& will) send my bags through if I give the EK booking number.

now, I have done this kind of thing before where i've had separate bookings and so forth and got my bags all the way through, but this is the first time i've heard of an airline, EK in this case, not 'allowing' it.

anyone with any specific experience in this sort of thing with EK?

Air Namibia is listed as an interline partner on EK's website so in theory you will be able to check your bags all the way through.
