Amazing, have the same mindsetWell, they are called plans.
For me , I have no intention of rolling myself into a ball and hiding. Going to Europe via Muscat for example.

Hope you got to use the voucherI'm flying SYD-SIN-VIE in Scoot+ next April. It was a pretty good fare.
I've also booked a couple of weeks in Airbnb's in Italy, in the Rome and Naples regions. The only thing I hadn't booked was my travel from VIE to Rome. I imagined it would be simple and straightforward, and at a reasonable cost (!). Well, imagination is a great thing, but when I actually went into the detail of the available options, I was a little surprised at how few reasonable ones there were and at the costs.
There are a few direct flights daily, but I didn't fancy paying $250+ for a Ryanair flight (there are also a few others such as OS). So my creative mind took over and looked for what I would consider to be better alternatives, and found and booked the following, for less than FR and a more relaxing trip with a more sensible arrival time into Rome, albeit a day later.
So this is what I booked to get from VIE to ROM: a cheap Ryanair flight from VIE to Milan (MXP), an overnight hotel stay at the airport, and then a Frecciarossa high speed train to Rome Termini station, arriving around 1 pm. You might think it's a bit crazy, but I'm happy with it.
Indeed I did. Thank you.Hope you got to use the voucher
