For those I am picking up at MEL, I will see you as planned for the (re-)modified day's outing. We should have enough time to get to Point Cook by 1000hrs or there-abouts.

Why, because iCan.

Thanks Jess, it is very much appreciated.

Be aware that the RAAF museum does not open until 1000 on the weekends so no point in getting there earlier.

Did somebody mention Moorabbin? The place I'm at three days a week?

Excuse my negativity, however, I didn't think that museum was all that good to be honest, is it worth the hour and a bit drive there?

Oh Dear ... hmmm, Point Cook's is a lot harder for me to get to, although Moorabbin is almost in my back yard - but I have seen the museum there.

I will update the first thread with the final plan for the day tonight, I might add anyone that wants to leave their car at Essendon is welcome to hitch a ride as well, after the lunch/lounge visits I am happy to drop them back.

Well, whatever is organised we're still IN! What a shame you have been mucked around so much after all that work.

Would you please include myself and +1 in your rental car -we're keen to split the costs. Thanks for the offer.
We are staying at HOTP so can catch the tram to Essendon and meet you where it suits :)

So is the Princess so that should work!

I have booked a car with 7 spare seats for those that might need transport, with a pickup at MEL and also Essendon, just let me know! I hope this is of interest to those still keeping the faith, on a bright note I now know there is a TAA museum for July ;)

Would love a ride from MEL AP if possible please.

I think with all the changes etc.... I'm going to skip this.

I was going to be flying to London for 5 days this weekend so being at the airport worked for me.

I will keep an eye on the July thread.

Boss

I'm still in, got my own car, so don't need a ride. But can carry some people. Just let me know where we will meet, to start the Adventure.

T-80 :D - Have nabbed the exit row for my flight down there...

Unfortunately I can no longer make this (and having just read some of the last few pages seems like a lot of things have changed anyway. Hope to be able to make it in September if it does not clash with SMD4!)

I saw something about refunds? Wasn't expecting one but if they're available I'll take it

After spending a week with me I think he's just trying to avoid me ;)

It's a shame it all fell apart after the hard work and planning that went into it, but as they say, the best laid plans and all that.

I too won't be attending the weekends events. I don't have much interest in fighter planes or military aviation, and the Moorabbin museum is ho hum.

As I was one of the first to pay, I would like to raise my hands for dibs on the airport tour bus in July though :)
