Any news on when the bonus points will be posting Red Roo ?
 
Does anyone know the phone or email contact to chase up missing points on the mall? I tried to find it and after being sent to the QF website emailed my enquiry to [email protected]

I still haven't received the bonus points and have not received a reply to my enquiry after over a week.

I emailed the same address and am also still waiting for a reply.
 
3 months later, I still haven't received the bonus points. Have not received a reply from my email to the Frequent Flyer Service Centre either.

Red Roo, any idea when we'll be getting these points??

Another missing the bonus points from this promo back in September.

Extremely disappointing that yet again more points chasing up is required.
 
i rang last Wednesday, FF Call Centre, and was told they would go in that night. Rang today and was told they are pending. Its some company in the US that does the program. I reckon I'll be calling back again next week.
 
I didn't get a response to my email sent weeks ago but have checked my QFF account and see the points were posted a few days ago. Looks like a manual item as it simply says ONLINE SHOPPING MALL POINTS 08SEP15. Now have to chase up another purchase from early September too ...
 
Just phoned the QFF service centre, the operator I spoke to put the request for the missing bonus points into a template for a supervisor to look into.

Will report back once I know more.
 
Just reporting back, that on my activity statement I have now received the missing bonus points from this promotion.

They appear on the activity statement as " online shopping mall points " with no reference to the Iconiic, although the points are precisely double the original posted points which now totals 12 points per dollar.

I still haven't received my bonus points. Might try calling tomorrow.

It's seriously a bad look for Qantas. They are still promoting bonus points at the online mall right now in the lead-up to Christmas, including at The Iconic. But such promotions are totally worthless if Qantas consistently fails to follow through with what is promised.

I personally won't be bothering with bonus points at the online mall in future. They should really fix their systems, or stop wasting everyone's time.
 
I had a call back from the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service centre as well yesterday, with the same operator who I spoke to on Thursday last week informing me of the bonus points posting to my account.

Unfortunately the call went to voice mail as I would have loved to have had a lovely chat about all the various issues with points failing to post correctly from the Qantas Mall, particularly around bonus points promotions.

Absolutely phone the frequent flyer service centre up!

I did once 90 days passed with no bonus points in sight.

I agree, it's rather annoying to have to call up about this and certainly reduces confidence that the Mall actually tracks purchases correctly.
 
After several emails and phone calls my bonus points finally arrived today.

The fact that I had to wait 4 months, and continuously follow up during this time, leaves a pretty sour taste.

Clearly there has been a failure somewhere along the line on the part of Qantas. As far as I can tell, the only people who have received the bonus points are the people who actively called Qantas to chase them up. If this is how Qantas is going to run online mall promotions, then I would consider them to be effectively meaningless going forward. Why advertise bonus points if you can't deliver on that promise?

And it's not as though there is no competition. I needed to make a purchase from Apple the other day. I decided to go through Virgin's online mall instead.

Yes, 4 months for the QFF points to post correctly is completely unacceptable.
 
One e-mail and two phone calls later, and bonus points still have not been credited.

QFF's system has on file that the purchase was made the day before the promotion began, which is incorrect (other threads indicate that the system that is used to log this is operated from the US). They have semi-confirmed this by phone, but have still requested further information to verify my purchase (they were already supplied with order number and exact date/time, this apparently was insufficient). So, off to send another e-mail with more details to hopefully be lucky third time around. All for just 800 points. Almost not worth the time.

It's highly likely anyone else who ordered within the first 14ish hours of the 7 day promotional period will have the same issues some of us have had.

@ Red Roo, can I make a suggestion that consideration of things like this be made before further promotions are done? It's not really our fault if we follow the rules of the promotion and need to jump through hoops to get points we're entitled to.
