12/12 BNE-MEL QF621 Cancelled

Had the pleasure of having my 1pm flight tomorrow BNE-MEL QF621 cancelled tomorrow via text this afternoon. Managed to get rebooked onto QF641 at 12.30pm.

Anyone have any idea why it happened or is this regular?

Could be many reasons. The loadings of other flights around that time (with the exception of the 2pm) look to be very very light so it could very well be due to inadequate passenger traffic.

Yeah I asked if it was regular as its a capital city flight where there are many in any given day, not knowing if occasionally one or two a day get cancelled.

"The Qantas Source" ( www.theqantassource.com) posts a list of cancelled flights most days. Looking at few posts there may help give you a rough idea of how often golden triangle services are cancelled.
