Hey All,

This is a mix of Velocity, Aeroplan, and SQ lol so I thought of posting here for more visibility.

I am looking at return flight from Seoul - Melb for my partner and I for Jan 2026. In terms of flight availability/transit time and my points balance (200k Velocity, 50k Aeroplan),

The route I am thinking of is :

1. ICN - SIN (SQ J via Velocity, arriving 4:55am)
2. SIN-MEL (SQ Y via Aeroplan, Departing 7:45am).

Reason being both Velocity and Aeroplan has the particular ICN-SIN flight, but only Aeroplan has flight availability back to MEL.

Less than 3 hours transit for separate bookings but for same airline (SQ) at their Changi home hub. Thoughts? Would you go for it?

I would personally go for it, SQ to SQ should not be a problem.

Maybe chat with SQ after booking to see if they could link both booking under one PNR
