The Internet is abuzz with news about this kid who travelled to Rome from Manchester without passport, ticket or boarding pass.

He didn't get to stay in Rome but I wonder if he got decent meals on board the plane. Or, was that a no-frills service? Maybe he was shown the coughpit which I'm sure most 11 year old kids would enjoy seeing.

Good luck Liam...may you live to sell your story!

Awesome... this kid will no doubt grow up to be an epic user of the FT BAEC forum

Just goes to show - if you look like you should be there (kid with adults) people assume you should.

Great adventure for the kid.....he will be dining out on that one forever!

It's not our own LiamR is it? I know he's pretty young? ;)

Oh and if it was he was probably in the lounge beforehand.

That's crazy he got so far with no checks.

Guess it really shows you how easy it would be to smuggle 'little' people! :o



I can understand somehow fluking going through security but how did he get past the boarding gate?

And I don't buy the story about looking for a toilet. Why would you follow all the people?
