There's a post on FT about this but I thought it'd be worth mentioning over here. Book a Sheraton Club room through Starwood Hotels & Resorts for stays until May 31st and get 1000 bonus points.

With other bonuses it's quite a nice earner!

But Platinums get complimentary club access anyway ;) So I'll keep booking my cheapest rooms anyway, save some $ and forgo the bonus points. Thanks for the headups though which would make sense to quite a few people who want club level rooms (and earn some free points at the same time).
