Hmmm, no bouns points at all yet, even though i held all 4 policies for at least 3 payment cycles before cancelling...

If multiple bonus points don't show up in my account by tomorrow someone at Onepath is going to be getting a friggin earful!!

Mine showed up on my 4th payment/credit to QFF. I was happy to pay for an extra month just to guarantee that they'd turn up.

yeah well they said they wanted policies to be held two months, i paid 3 lots of payment on three of them and 4 lots on the fourth so i think i have well and truly fulfilled requirements...

I am flying out for 3 months on thursday and really don't need to be thinking about this with lots of other things to work out in the last few days, this should be automatic, so if i don't see them tomorrow there will be a "please explain" followed by a "get it done"....

I got 2 out of my 3 10k points today (all 3 were started on the same day)

Does anyone know if the bonus points still aviailable to the new member? Thinking about sign up for my partner. On qantas site it still says 10,000 points but can't see anything on onepath website.

Check the QFF member specials and see for yourself. I'm too lazy to on my iPhone. Buy can't be hard on a computer. Last time I checked it was a yes.

Has anyone had any luck getting missing points? I reported mine a few weeks ago and have heard (and gotten) nada since.

How did you make the report? Did you write in? I got my policies at end of Jan but haven't got the bonuses yet.

I called them the other day about zero bonus points from 4 policies and after being on hold she was going to have it investigated or something...

Before putting me on hold she said i might have to still hold the policies for the bonus points to be paid out (i canceled after 3 lots of payments each) to which i said to her later that if they say that points may not come for 4 months, that would mean you have to hold the policies for 4 months which is explicitly contradictory to the T&C which says you need to hold the policies for 2 months...

Bunch of ....

Point No. 8:

8. What if my policy is cancelled?
If OnePath or the Policy Owner cancels the policy, Points will continue to be awarded for transactions occurring prior to the date of cancellation. No Points will be awarded in relation to transactions notified to OnePath after that date.

So the points should come through. I think it will just be a lag in their system, says it can take up to 8 weeks for normal 'premium paid' points to come through, and up to 4 months for bonus.

I have taken out the 4 listed policies, so hoping for the 40000 bonus points and from all the T&C's online I am sure we should be able to get them.

Re: 10,000 Bonus Points With New OnePath Life Insurance OR 15,000!!

Anybody get the bonus 15,000 points? I got one thru my corporate group. More than the usual 10,000. Also gets the usual 1 pt per dollar of premium. Can't wait for the bonus, another step closer to my QFF reward!

I did get a postcard offer, but I already have 2 policies with OnePath. Can I apply for another one?:p

I have 2 policies and my wife has 1 policy. However we only get points for 1 set of policy (and 1 set of 10000 points). After following up with OnePath twice, they still haven't fixed up my issue with missing points, and my wife just received a letter from OnePath indicating that she would miss out on 10000 points because she did not register QFF number with OnePath within 30 days. That is rubbish as we registered our QFF number straight after purchase of policies and unfortunately there is no way to prove this as they never sent acknowledgement of our QFF registration hence it is now my word going against their word. Very frustrating.

They said that I can write complaint about this then go to TIO but seriously should I need to do this when their IT system is that cr*ppy?!

It just sounds like too much effort to chase 1Path for those 20K points. Anyone has similar experiences (without me reading the entire thread)?

Looks like the same as my second policy (no 10k bonus) havent bothered it chasing it, for the outlay of around $30 I'm not fussed

I'd try FOS, not TIO....

Yes. I only got one set of 10,000 bonus points, and now see that only one lot of 9 payment points per month has been accruing in my QFF account.

I activated my CBA Diamond card yesterday, and emailed OnePath, cancelling my policies, however unless there's an easy-out, I think the other bonus will be too much hassle to recover...

Have points been posting to your Qantas account? My experience with the regulator (more the Finance Ombudsman) is that it is considerable work for organisations to put together their proof that they have done what they say they have and hence they are actually very reluctant to actually have complaints going to them. With this in mind any complaint which specifically states you will go down this path (or have) has considerably greater likelihood of success and it doesn't really take that long to write a complaint letter.

OK it's June and it's >4 months. Still no bonus. Will have to start writing to them.
please let us know how you get on. I have no bonuses either and have emailed/filled in the feedback online/faxed. All I got was a standard reply letter stating it takes up to 4 months.
