Hey team

I'm looking at a few hotel options for one night after our wedding in April with the criteria being Sydney Harbour Bridge and/or Opera House views.
The short list so far is:
  • Shangri La
  • Four Seasons (most expensive and probably out of the budget)
  • Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel
I don't have any hotel status and can get a Corporate rate through work for Shangri La which would give a late check out but no other benefits for any others. Is there any other way to book one of these rooms perhaps through other loyalty programs without breaking the bank?

Park Hyatt and Pier One are also worth considering.

Everything with a view will be expensive.

Both Shangri La and Intercontinental give upgrade at time of booking, breakfast etc on the Virtuoso rate. Intercon also does Club access and Shangri La does USD100 equivalent food and beverage credit. Could be a good option.

Benefits don't apply to any advance purchase rates, just the 'best available'.

Park Hyatt clearly would have best views?
i guess I should be more specific - I need to book 1 x room for Jun 8 - seeking hotel that offers best views Opera House / Bridge or both - suggestions please? (Budget not a constraint for this nt)

@Cruiser Elite I suggest you look to book the Park Hyatt at a Privé rate; generally not much more than the flexible rate.

For that you'll need a TA with access to the rates.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Sydney for our honeymoon. We booked a one bedroom suite with Opera House views for around $2,000, and then due to being stuffed around by the hotel, got an upgrade to the Presidential Suite. Made our wedding night! Full review and reasons for the upgrade can be found.

Just bumping this.
Any recent Shangri-La SYD stays ?
Tossing up between this and IC, will have Club access at both, never stayed at either.
