Been paying that way since 2009
You're kidding?

Was told this morn by Aust Post has been in testing for 12mths with limited number of customers and was only rolled out to market 2mths ago!

Have you been paying private account or Company account?

Aust Post eParcel services can now be paid by CC.

Visa / MCard / Amex all 1.25% surcharge

Just a +1 from me for the AMEX C/C Payments on your Australia Post account at only 1.25%. Just did my first payment after discovering this.

Although no surcharge by paying AMEX at the counter, so if you have large purchases, ie 100 Prepaid 3KG bags, (about $1300) then paying retail over the counter with Amex is still the best option.

You would be paying way too much at $1300 for 100.
I will check to see what we are paying now as I think we would be quite a bit below $1000.

We were on the pilot/beta for the 'My Business Account' functionality 18 months ago or so, unfortunately at the time, they wouldn't give us our prompt payment discount if we split the CC payments into multiples, always a bit wary to load cards with 6 figures...

Just checking again now, it looks like it 'might' allow it now. Will try for our next months bill. Not a 'bargain' by any means, but pushing some spend through on the new Westpac Altitude Black Amex will keep the warehouse topped up.

We pay 8.14 plus GST for our 3kg air bags and $7.54 for 1kg so paying $1300 for 100 units is pretty hexy.

What does "air bag" mean cove? I've only heard that term in relation to AAE. Red or yellow? Thanks.

There are several companies that offer air or 24 hour delivery and often the delivered goods may have never gone more than 3 metres off the ground where others may go more than 9,000 metres off the ground. We tend to call the plastic bag used an air bag and it can be a very efficient delivery method.
