Yep. 17th of august my CC got hit. 3 each of shiraz, cab sauv, shiraz mat and cab malb received a couple days later. 3rd year on list, 1st time getting anything. No crayon. I consider myself very fortunate for this years wendouree roulette.

My allocation was 9 Sv 9 Chard 2 PN 2 Neb and 1 each of the Grenache’s. I don’t think their wines are overrated. Particularly if you are willing to give them a few years in the bottle. E.g the 2017 PN I had a month ago was fantastic. As always these things are subjective though…

It’s changed now. Domestic liquid carry on limit used to be 4 or 4.5 litres. There’s no limit now. I’ve carried on over 10 bottles a few times. My record is 21 bottles carry on. The jig is up if they decide to weigh the bag though……

I had the 15, 16 and 17 vintage and it’s nice for $30. However value for money wise not really beyond $40-$50 mark. I ended up selling my bottles on langtons for $70 plus. It’s still going to be a lovely bottle of wine though.

Not to rain on the parade. But Costco cleared this for $30 in 2020. Which was insane. The price match fun that occurred after was a bit of fun.
