My 'gripe' is about the food in the BNE club lounge, hasn't changed in >10years. Toasted ham + cheese + tomato sammich, baked beans, some fruit and muesli, that's it. Most times I just don't bother. Cleanliness is dubious at most lounges across Aus IMO.

That's correct, none or all............. 2 separate bookings are the only way you could do this and the 2nd would probably have to be bought, not CR.

How far out do QF offer CR seats? We are looking at flights into Europe mid-late Aug next year and can't see any reward seats past March. Have been Gold for ~13years, no chance of making Platinum, so can't request seats.

I have a question for the wise, how often are blocks of flights are released with Classic award availability indicated ?? i'm looking at flights mid Jan 2016 and it's only showing up to the 13th Jan.

Marry a person that works for your favourite Airline. I come from an aviation family and have had many a free/cheap flight. I don't work in the industry but still have family that do. They don't care about status, prices etc. It's just damn cheap.
