I don't expect anything extra as WP1 except help when things go wrong. Upgrades are terrific but not expected. I book 50% dom as J and all international in J. I don't hold it against Qantas if I miss an upgrade.

I think all the J lounges are good including BNE.

I've been WP1 since it was introduced and have experienced no degradation in upgrades of any sort domestically or internationally.

I'm Diamond Hhonors and rate Hilton ADL as the worst for status value. Next is PER and BNE. SYD is a stand out. AKL is average. In HKG the Conrad is average as their Midtown property in NYC. Consistency, or lack thereof, is the issue.

Good question SuzieQ68. I get to WP1 within three months of the start of a new year and QP with VA in the same time. No more airlines here to spread the love with. I asked the question if there were options for other business wide benefits.
