Received my new terms on my e-statement. I missed out reading the 10K in the previous T&C .... just to be sure, If I owe them more than 10K, I won't get any points on amounts above the 10K and not on the entire month billing cycle, right? TIA.

OMG is what I can say. Came back from work to a thick Amex post and my shock. Checked Amex site for my renewal date and here. My renewal is Sept. thank goodness. Will be cancelling my Amex by Sept 2014 though. I think those jokers at Amex need to have a dose of reality.

Their T&C says at time of booking. See Point No2 for that. I loathe prepaying and who knows, cough happens and I may need to cancel. Points Hound may be the way to go even if I earn lesser points. Anyway, here's the T&C:

It also comes with a rather thick booklet highlighting the fine dining establishments. Have you seen the lack of listed restaurants in WA??!?

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a package from Citibank. Inside, I found a letter introducing CB dining including a small bottle of wine. I'm impressed. Better than anything I had as Amex Plat.

My card arrived today without a flight being credited. :DTheir pack contained a set of luggage tags (not the same size as the FF card) and two very flimsy baggage straps.

Did you credit a flight to get them? Just wondering as I read about inconsistencies with TK.

If you have been matched, you have status. You dont need to credit a flight my comment telates to getting the card. With respect to lounge access, it may be worth in getting an email confirmation from TK. Not sure if a printout of your account is acceptable.

There is a chance of the waitlist clearing. Of course, someone would need to release those seats (change/cancel booking) and then those with higher status will have first choice to that seat. it used to clear when I was a PPS but not anymore. Just have an alternative in case you don't get the...
