    status credits with Virgin America

Virgin America say that they'll post within 6-8 weeks on their site. In practice it's anywhere up to three months. My suggestion is to put a Retro claim in after a couple of weeks to make sure you're counted in any case of a stuffup, but they do show up there eventually.

Need 255 Sc's to maintain gold by 03 June best options?

Question -- did you get the Double SCs e-mail when they went around?

Price of multi-leg redemptions using Velocity points...

That redemption table doesn't appear to mean anything. From my poking around, it seems prices are directly correlated to what you'd pay in dollar amounts for the same ticket.

Lounge access in alaska airline boardroom LAX for Virgin australia Z Class passengers

Re: Lounge access in alaska airline boardroom LAX for Virgin australia Z Class passen Basically, Virgin have taken over the old (dreadful) Alaska T3 lounge. This is because they were meant to be moving departures over to T5 at the same time as Alaska moved over to T6, but this has not...

    Virgin Australia Fleet Update Thread.

Cool, thanks for the sources :) Point taken. Are the two further ex-Emirates A330s that were mentioned last year known to be definitely off the cards?

    Virgin Australia Fleet Update Thread.

Errm, everyone I've spoken to on the subject says that the next two A330s to be delivered (after XFD) will be ex-Emirates...

Can multiple partners be combined on one award ticket?

If you take a stop-over, then it would be charged as two separate bookings... Can't see why it would be any other way.

VA & SQ - I still don't know how, or if, it all works

Basically, as far as I can tell, the rules are as follows: 1) You can earn if Virgin Australia or a partner airline are the operator of the flight. 2) You can earn if Virgin Australia or a partner airline are the primary marketing carrier of the flight (basically wet-lease flights, e.g. Skywest...

VS earn same as VA on Status Credits (1 SC earn rate table now)

There is a daily SYD-HNL VA-coded flight on HA metal, if that's of any use to you?

Requalifying question / maintaining gold status

Wait a day or two after your SCs post from your return flight. I got auto-upgraded a few days after mine posted (despite not quite reaching the qualifying level).

VAustralia Lounge LAX TBIT terminal 3 ups and downs....

Re: LAX T3 Lounge Access Can't say I've seen their sizes reduce before... but uploading to imgur.com may work if you can't get them to upload full-size here.

Requalifying question / maintaining gold status

There's definitely a built-in grace period. I've made both of my status jumps (Silver-Gold and Gold-Platinum) by *just* falling short of the qualification amounts after a big trip. The other question is -- are you going to exceed 400SC after your outbound leg, or after your return? If it's...

VAustralia Lounge LAX TBIT terminal 3 ups and downs....

Re: LAX T3 Lounge Access They had announced a few months ago that they'd be moving into T5 around the same time as Alaska moved into T6 (presumably to take advantage of Delta's lounge etc services at T5). Now the move's pretty much off the radar, and VA have no idea when it's happening. That...

    Sydney International Lounge

As far as I can tell that's correct; however OP apparently has VS Gold, so that's enough to get him into the NZ lounge...

VAustralia Lounge LAX TBIT terminal 3 ups and downs....

Re: LAX T3 Lounge Access Did you depart from TBIT? I gather that the lounge space they're using is the recently vacated Alaska lounge, but I'm more interested in what the offering in there is...

VAustralia Lounge LAX TBIT terminal 3 ups and downs....

LAX T3 Lounge Access Anyone got any experience of the lounge access at LAX now that Alaska has moved over to T6? I ask this because I've just taken a look at the relevant Velocity page, and here's what they've offered. Particularly bad looks like the description of how to get an alcoholic...

    Sydney International Lounge

I believe your only option is the Air NZ lounge. You might be able to plead your way into the Singapore Airlines lounge by showing your Velocity Gold card, but there's nothing guaranteed there.

Terminal transfers at LAX post-AS relocation

OK, that's been my experience in the past (transferring from TBIT to T1, fwiw), and agreed, the walk isn't going to take very long. Presumably, I'll be able to get my baggage transferred from T6 onto my VA flight, so I'll have next to no baggage. So, basically, my transfer window would be...

Terminal transfers at LAX post-AS relocation

So, I'm looking at booking some travel from Australia, then around the US on a DL ticket, including a flight inbound to LAX on Alaskan Airlines. All the Transpacific flights are going to be on VA metal. This would be some time around July. I noticed that AS are relocating their operation at...
