    7-Eleven Velocity bonus points offers

I couldn't see a thread on the various Velocity bonus point offers that pop up from time to time on the Velocity app. There is a standard offer of 250 Velocity points for the first transaction after when you link your Velocity and 7-Eleven accounts. LAX-SYD J (Y NOU-SYD) on SB (Aircalin) one way from $3.2k

TL;DR: LAX-PPT-NOU in J on TN and SB on the 787 and A330neo with NOU-SYD in Y on QF for $3.2k one way. So I've managed to get myself an award flight from SYD-SFO on Boxing Day for a cruise leaving Fort Lauderdale on 27 December. The issue with award travel is that it's one way, so I am left...

    MEL/SYD-AMS in J on (gulp!) GA from $3.3k, PER-AMS from$2.9k

For the brave and hardy souls among the AFF crowd, I was looking through the list of business class fares to Europe on Directflights and saw Garuda was doing MEL-AMS, SYD-AMS and PER-AMS fares in J for very reasonable prices. Maximum stay away appears to be a month.
