Thanks ChrisCh. I am actually looking thru the info i was given (& contrary to what the website says of $18k), my acct manager was suggesting i needed to get my limit to $12k+, and then switch. Did you manage it with a limit less than $12k?

Yes, the service leaves a bit to be desired. I requested a Black Card, Acct Manager said nothing about credit limits. Then i received a rejection letter in the mail, with no reason listed. I had to ring the Acct Manager to find out why i was rejected!

I saw an advert today for a similar tour with captains choice on a 747 in October. First thing I wondered was if u would get status credits! But then reminded myself that if I could afford the $27k, the status credits wouldn't matter!

$15 is not enough. When staying in FNQ recently the difference at many places was $40-50.

The website only lists Silver as the status you get. (i checked it yesterday as they rang me to sign me up)

It would be crazy of Qantas to roll over the Status Credits. As some members on here would already have Plat status for the next 10yrs! If Qantas DID roll over the status credits, it would have to change the whole costing model for Status Credits. Also, at what level would you roll them over...
