Thanks for the help everyone. I secured some shred accomodation about ten minutes out of town via the Gladstone open discussion Facebook group for a pretty reasonable price. Got an operational upgrade for the Sydney to Brisbane leg of the trip so all good there. Starting work in about 15 minutes.

Agree with staying overnight. Something always seems to run not smoothly on flights out of Perth.

Re: Miles on Sale Perth to Sydney departing at 2350, arriving at 0605 is always good for a laugh. Especially when a couple of rows back are seated two young children who screm continuously for the entire flight, only interrupting the racket to vomit.
