Are you sure the address for the supplementary Gold Charge card is linked to this promotion? American Express told me it must have a source code to trigger the bonus points. They also told me it's not a targeted promotion and that all non-bank Amex cards, even Qantas/David Jones products, qualify.

Thanks for the replies. Annual fee aside do you reckon it's worth getting the Qantas Ultimate for guaranteed 1.5 QF points per dollar or go the Platinum Credit card at 1.25 QF points per dollar, in anticipation of '10k points per 20 transactions' type promotions? Annual spend would be 60k-90k.
