Am I imagining things? I thought I saw a promo that said if you add an ABN to your booking you receive an extra 100 status credits? Did anyone else see this? is there a link somewhere...

Any thoughts on this? Is the Velocity Platinum 100 status credits EVERY YEAR? or only the first year? I have Edge now, but thinking of moving across really only for the status credits.. is this stupid? ($200 more per year, but i'll probably get Gold with the extra 100)

i paid $400 for a yearly membership today i redeemed flight worth about $300 support from amex is EXCELLENT, i've had to call up about 10 times (auto payment problems) and only once have i had to wait (for about 10 mins) the rest were *immediate* pickups booking the flight was immediate...
