IME QF will keep fobbing you off until at least the 8 weeks have passed and then will advise to wait another 2 weeks. Patience truly is a virtue when dealing with QF.

Well in the case we took to the CTTT in NSW the commissioner advised that if we proceeded beyond a certain point the other side would be entitled to claim their legal costs. Fortunately we won and they had to pay ours.

Not in my experience. On both occasions I've been to a tribunal, the other side had a lawyer arguing their case.

SQ has good availability and low taxes but your points (miles) will be subject to a three year hard expiry. That is, if you haven't used them within 3 years of transferring them, you will loose them.
