VH-OGD popped up on my ADS-B receiver feed at 1743Z (00:13 local time here in Myanmar), about 25 minutes ago, passing SE over the Bay of Bengal. Its now about to pass closest to me, around 40 Nm South of my location in Yangon, and I am located around 8km south of Yangon Airport (VYYY/RGN)...

I'm in Yangon, Myanmar. All going well, I'll be able to pick this up with the ADS-B receiver I've got on my rooftop here (which also feeds in to Flightradar24, Flight Aware, etc.) VH-OGD track should have it over head of me around an hour before arrival to Bangkok. Let's see.

Go to the nearest transfer counter, they should be able to sort out the airside baggage transfer and the UL boarding pass (I have done this previously, but it was daytime and the main check in counters were open landside - I was able to remain airside)

Still not possible. Transfer counters at the East & West Concourses in BKK are for getting boarding passes issued, changing flights, general info - there's no facility airside to check a bag. You must clear immigration and head up to the 4th Floor to the check-in counters, landside, if you want...
