Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

I see nothing in this for me. I'll get to LTG in October. I/we won't make any effort to go for WP ever again. The F lounges just aren't that important to us and the only other perk that I have used, requesting release of award seats, has become more miss than hit. I won't ever get another 10k...

An unanticipated but exciting opportunity to tour southern Africa in April 2026 - advice and input requested

I went to a local currency shop here in Brisbane to get starter cash. We needed to pay our tour driver the tour supplement when we met in Vic Falls. We could have taken the cash out at an ATM at JNB but didn't want to risk not getting it. We had a wad of small USD but tipping was actually...

Where did you visit for its geographical significance?

Agree. The Lencois is all about the geography and it was definitely worth the effort. Dunes forever and between each beautiful pools. We flew up to Sao Luis just to go here

Where did you visit for its geographical significance?

Ha! I was thinking the same, but then thought actually some are for history, some are for nothing but relaxation, some to see wildlife, some are for entertainment. The geography just happens to be where those things all are.

Where did you visit for its geographical significance?

Walked on all seven continents. Stood across the equator in Kenya, and the tropic of Capricorn in Namibia (and a few places in Oz). Stayed in the mega wetlands of the Pantanal and the Okavango Delta. Walked Kata Tjuṯa just before they stopped access due to heat. Swam/snorkelled the...

Any real tangible benefits to linking two people's PNR on the same flight?

If you are travelling in business, or have the same status, you will. If you’re talking about physically checking in at the airport then I have no idea, as I haven’t done that with Qantas domestically or internationally for a long time.
