Yeah, this is what I've done a few weeks ago and it worked well. I've just sent a list of hotels to the concierge email who gave me the total pricing for each option and the 4th night rebate amount. Much easier than trying to get pricing for 5+ hotels over the phone.

Their list of partners is very good but the earn rate after factoring the redemption rates is awful, they don't seem to even have decent sign-up bonuses either. CBA cards have always been a miss for me.

I've added an infant to three QF reward bookings a few months ago (flights with JL, AF and QF) via the Facebook and Twitter message. Infant was added to the current bookings and linked to one of the passengers. Only had to pay $4.70 in taxes for the JL flight, not sure why the others did not...

Award tickets on QR always book into the "U" fare class but annoyingly it is not listed on their website showing which fare classes come with lounge access.

That's normal on Qatar, even booking directly they don't allow you to select your seats unless you purchase a Business Comfort (I,D) fare or pay up. Most likely you've got yourself an R fare (Business Classic). All award tickets however do come with seat selection.

Has anyone received their bonus points for transfers from ANZ yet?

I've booked flights for family who do not share the same last name as what's on the account and never had any issues.

Tigerair signs are still up as well though….

I’m aware of the issue with Visa hence why the use of the 28 Degrees, which is a Mastercard. I haven’t had any issues topping up Suica with 28D lately, I assume Latitude fixed up the issues on their end.

Initial response was that “upgraded tickets with Avios do not have lounge access”, clearly the person did not understand the email. I clarified that it was a ticket purchased with Avios, no upgrades occurred and asked whether Qatar has changed their policy on lounge access for award tickets...

Tried getting the yearly fee reduced through the message function within the app and no dice. I've mentioned the reduced features and all. Would calling potentially result in a different outcome?

Yeah I don't know what's going on with 28 Degrees but I had bunch of transactions declined as well, which magically go through when trying the following day. Latest one was topping up the Suica card via Apple Pay which I don't understand how it can decline a transaction initiated with Face ID...

You should get the points and the fee rebate within a couple of weeks after the first statement. The lounge passes are not automatic, you will need to call the ANZ concierge to receive them, it's a bit annoying.

Looks like Amex is excluded apart from this one card. I expect this is due to Amex having their own bonus promo a couple months back.

Looks like the offer is back but only until the 10th of November. Only Citi is on the list of the banking partners, but from what I can see there's a separate bonus offer to Commbank that has supposedly started mid October and runs until the end of November...
