Used this at QT Canberra in early December - they took the $40 per night off the bill at the end regardless of the discounts applied with dining. As a Balck cardholder I don’t know how they made any money with that stay ... would be interested to see the response you get from PGR

Have found many hotels are offering some great deals when booking direct - much better than the general discount travel booking websites and almost all are flexible Pay on Arrival. Win win for both parties really in the current climate.

For any Hyatt Globalists in Australia - sad to say Hyatt Canberra has decided to close its Ambassador (Club) Lounge permanently. They are currently offering a 10% discount on F&B instead.

Looking forward to this - certainly places Hyatt in the upper echelon range compared to Hilton and IHG- devil will be in the details but if they treat Globalists well -I’m in !
