Credit Card Offers Suncorp Clear Options Platinum Discussion [not offered to new customers from 9/6/25]

This is the final call for all Suncorp credit cards, including the Suncorp Clear Options Platinum, which I think is quite cheap: $129 annual fee $1 = 0.625 VA mile $1 = 0.5 SQ mile Sign on bonus after spending $4500 within 3 months is 100,000 Suncorp points, which equates: - VA 62500 miles -...

Significant NAB changes coming; no travel insurances on most cards from mid-2026

Then you won't have travel insurance and no car rental insurance. This is pretty black and white to me? I mean NAB has plenty of cards with no insurance, like their "NAB Low Fee Credit Card"

Significant NAB changes coming; no travel insurances on most cards from mid-2026

No it isn't. You are just over thinking it: If your card is signature level, you get insurance. If your card is not signature level, you have no insurance from mid 2026 If you look at NAB web site, all the cards losing insurance are cards below Signature level. So, you will get insurance if...

It is BS 99.998% of the time, for 99.9998% of the visitors who enter; but ask the 0.0001% of foreigners who got caught, like: - The two Michaels from Canada - Five AstraZeneca staffs detained by China - People who work in finance - other industries So, it is a bit of a pain to carry a passport...

Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

It needs to be within the last 12 months, so you better find your paper trail, as they could ask for evidence. I generally don't bother with the plane ticket requirement anymore, as it's much easier to simply charge $500 of hotels and walking tours. Less headache.

I have also received a letter in the mail for my Suncorp Platinum. It seems all cards at Platinum level or below are losing insurance, whereas Signature level is having insurance retained.

China announces visa-free travel for Australians visiting up to 30 days (previously 15 days)

The only 'uncertainty' I would consider is how likely I would become a political hostage when inside China (assuming you are not of Chinese heritage) Their visa application process look serious; but having applied for tourist visas in 2018 and 2019, plus using their 240 hours landing visa in...

China announces visa-free travel for Australians visiting up to 30 days (previously 15 days)

Chinese Communist Party created this visa free policy, because foreigners and foreign funds were exiting China, while the economy in China was going in reverse, so they wanted to attract foreigners. Hence, the answer to your question would be: how bad do you think the economy in China will be...

Oh, you can trust me when I say I never drink instant or pods. They are disgusting. Actually, coffee in California is also disgusting from experience 18 months ago, even with independents.
