AMEX announced the headline offer today via full-page ads in major printed newspapers

How come that I haven't received any communications from AmEx on this? Am I supposed to start reading physical newspapers?

I got this offer in my Reserve + Edge + gold charge accounts, except my additional cards.

I added it on mine, but it's limited to $25 per card. I initially thought they meant per single bill at a restaurant, but no - the entire promotion is just a $25 discount, wow big whoop

I didn't realise that either! I'll likely reach the limit the same way, through coffee. $1.20 back yesterday, $2.00 this morning.

I'm finding it a bit of pot luck, yes I know they have their map to find places but one coffee shop that was on the map and had the Delicious tag didn't registered however a couple of others I've since been to which weren't on the map have come back with a credit.

I saved mine on my primary cards yesterday (not available for supps).

Unlike SCM, this is one my favourite offers. I usually use mine at bars and restaurants where meals are nowhere near $125 e.g. ramen restaurants

Same. It's a nice little bonus to get an email saying your most recent meal qualified for the cash back and you're going to get a couple of dollars back here and there.

I’ve received mine pretty much at the same time as the transaction settles.

The email confirmations usually arrive within 30mins.

Perhaps the place(s) you went to weren’t included?
