No direct flights between India and mainland China?

China Eastern is now flying PVG-DEL. Currently 3x weekly on an A330-200 but it will go daily next year. Not many other direct routes up and running yet, which I'm sure is helping carriers like Cathay Pacific!

Help with Taxes for Qantas Award booking

I’m not sure that this Philippines rule still applies. Nonetheless, if you wanted to post an exact itinerary here (with dates etc. included) I’m sure someone here will be able to tell you what the taxes are.

"Coffee tax" creeping into IHG hotels

I did. I guess the coffee was fine, by QLD standards ;) I probably sound like a coffee snob here, and yes I agree that the machine coffee was OK. 20 minute connection times in Japan - impressive

I was just looking at some domestic itineraries in Japan on ANA, and many have connection times as low as 20 minutes. Being Japan, I bet they probably work too! Don't think I've seen such low MCTs before.
