People on OzB are good savers, so they fly choppers; poor people like me fly dash 8 hence economy class 😅

This is also wayyy OT, but shouldn't you take a dash 8 to Sydney, fuel lock a cheaper price, then fly back to Canberra to fill?

What you are asking is outside the published rules, which I agree, you need to ask around for experience. And my philosophy is, there are always rules which an outsider would not know about, which are the real traps one should be watching out for. Some people push their luck very hard, right to...

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

If you look at the T&Cs section titled "Bonus Citi reward Points" for Citi Prestige Card, there is no such exclusion period. In fact, it looks like you could be holding a Citi card and apply for another one and still get the sign up bonus. However, AFF has issued this warning: "In the past...

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

Firstly, it is in the PowerPoint from NAB posted yesterday ...... ...... that Citi brand will be retired this December, and they will all be NAB branded. Secondly, NAB does have the no sign up bonus if you have been a customer recently exclusion: "This bonus Qantas Points offer is not...

Citi doesn't pay points on ATO, just a reminder, so you need to wash via gift cards or third party payments like Yak or Sniip

You know you have to spend on this new card in order to earn the bonus points? May I recommend meeting this by buying something like MG MG4 which is only $37990 drive away? You can get yourself a new electric car on this card, and meet minimum spend requirement, while still have credit limit...

You got a source for this quote? If you are waiting for the second lot and your card account is in good standing, then Citi has to give them to you, because it becomes part of your contract. If you are thinking of applying for a new card, you should refer "Bonus Citi reward Points" section...

Also, you can still get sign up bonus at the moment, even if you already have a NAB card. After the migration, the cards will be under NAB, so there won't be sign up bonus for existing NAB cardholders. Hence, why not?

If the specific post which started this whole thing (link here), does not read like a statement of fact, then sorry that I have a different interpretation.

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

I was referring to how this whole discussion started this week ( please see why this thread re-started). Also, you said something significant is going to happen at the end of September. So what is that? Let's don't give false information any credibility.

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

Ah, "assume", not fact. Totally agree, because they need to consolidate products, finalise anything which can be finalised, then do system freeze and start the migration. So now it's end of Sep? So it is 14 Sep or end of Sep? Or do you have insider knowledge that this card will be pulled...

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

Tell me where on page 53 says that this Citi credit card will be withdrawn from sale on 19 September. Nothing, other than that there is a promo for balance transfer and bonus points when you apply for a new account. And someone misrepresenting what is written on Citi web site. That depends...

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

So you "assume", it's not a fact. What do you mean by "all"? There is only one promotion for this card. And this sentence is specifically written within the subheadings on the web page "Balance transfer rate" + "Bonus Qantas Points" + "Balance Transfer offer". Not in the body of the page...

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

Just like how NAB Citi just pulled Suncorp brand cards, and they made an announcement to us cardholders via email, plus official announcement on web site clearly. It isn't. Those dates are end dates for the promotions. Don't spread fake news.

This appear in the balance transfer promo and sign up bonus sections, as qualification requirements, nothing to do with withdrawing the product from sales. I'm not eligible to wait, because I'm on free for life plan

Citi Prestige Bonus Point Offers & Discussion

I cannot see anything about this products being withdrawn from sale? When I do a CTRL + F on that page, all the 14 Sep references are on balance transfer and sign up bonus. As a comparison, NAB / Citi is really withdrawing their Suncorp brand cards for sale, and they actually say "From 9 June...
