I see Qf have cynically released a lot of classic reward seats today after the award price rise. Of course, I burnt all my ponts before the price rise....

Anyone else noted delays on this TF? I TFd from Amex on Sat and as of this (Mon) evening, no sign of the TF in my Velocity account :(

On Channel 7 news tonight, a segment about booking award flights before the price rise on August 5th.

When I flew Adl-Mel-Doh in late May, there were at most 20 pax on the Adl-Mel sector (and there were more FAs than pax!) but the plane was almost full from Mel to Doh. The 1 hr 45 min stop in Mel allowed a nice lunch in the Mel Qf F lounge ;)

Just quoting and bookmarking for future reference. Two days before the 20% increase in Qf award costs, I booked: 1) Syd-Cmb in J for 2 for May 2026....I want to push this out later when we have time to travel ;) 2) Syd-Mel in J for 2 for Apr 2026...based on the discussion here, I hopefully can...

Yeah I TFd my Amex points balance to Velocity with this 20% offer....if I do decide to TF to KF, it is is slightly better via Velocity with this 20% bonus offer

I can see Classic Plus awards up to around Feb 2026 but after that nada awards, Plus or otherwise :( May not ever get back to LHI again...will have to rely on memories from 3 previous trips :(

Looks like the variable load $500s are gone.....forever. I'm down to my last one bought last year (Nov 24) :(

To avoid having to change in the aircraft bathroom, I now change into trackie pants and T shirt in the lounge prior, and wear a removable jumper...that's my onboard sleep attire. Hope but dont really care if I bump into someone I know ;)

I personally dont like the Qf J PJs and don't wear them...but family members and friends do, and I have also given away alot over the years....they seem to shrink too after washing!

I have been able to download all the digital GCs to the TCN app including the extra ones! Of the 7 i bought, I can only see the card numbers of 2 of them. The rest show "internal server error"...hope this is not going to be painful to sort out! PS the correct number of Qf points have already...

It has been a "tough* 3 weeks shopping so far with 1 more week to go....doing 2 x$50 and 2x$60 per week for 4 weeks over 4 accts for 10K FB pts so will net 40K FB pts which is 20 K velocity points or just under 13K KF miles. What household staples do people buy? Have stocked up on toilet...
