Why wouldn't you though? Not like there's a lot of good benefits to choose from, it's purposely designed that way.
Anyway, I have been tossing up between going all in on EY (may be a bit too limited), or I think a better option is pivoting to SQ KF directly - much more redemption opportunities...
If your amounts are too high for wise/revolut, you can approach a large broker like xe.com.
As far as I know, wise can do very high volumes though, are you talking about billions here or what?
No, the benefits apply as stated in the app - they have different insurance partners in different regions though, so the experience may vary by region. That's why it's best to read the inclusions as they apply to you.
The claims experience is quite good for revolut, the main thing to check are level of coverage - the inclusions of both of these, and things like excess, etc. I would just compare based on the coverage, and see which is better for you.
With regards to a reward business ticket (paid with points + cash);
Question is - what determines whether the cost will be deducted in points or dollars? Can I make that choice somehow?
Just thinking, is it possible to comment on VA's submission for QR to become their exclusive partner heading to Europe? Is it being reviewed by ACCC or anything?

Not really sure what can be inappropriate about it, many countries have a national call - eg. "allez le bleu" for French, "ole ole ole" for Spanish, etc. European countries are far from the most patriotic, but even they have these.
On the topic of whether to call it out on a plane, I am not...
After reviewing a lot of detail, I have to say it really sucks for VA plats... Currently we can use the EY first class lounge, which is amazing (and controversial opinion, better and more private than the EK one).
With Qatar, it seems we will only ever be able to access the QR platinum lounge...
Somehow missed this thread, can someone recap what are the thoughts on EY?
I am assuming any tickets booked before April 2025 will be honored for SCs and points. I'm also wondering about F lounge access, since this is really the main reason I like flying EY now, in terms of what kind of...
I think it's convenient if you want all your finances in one finance-super-app, however apart from that I think there's little benefit over other options.
Two questions further;
1. Any predictions on how this will impact EY partnership overall? F lounge access for plat? Maybe it will stop after April, or maybe October?
2. Just to get it right, my period is April -> April. I already have plat secured for next cycle (from April 25 to April 2026) -...
Damn, unfortunately I have no use for extra SCs until next May, and can't think of booking anything that far ahead domestically 🤔
I take suggestions for events next year from May! (not in Sydney).
