Needs to be some form of regulation on these fees. Retailers can’t get away with such fees, banks have been put under the microscope recently. Politicians have been weak with airlines for as long as I have been alive.

Looks like Network won’t get getting Jetstar Asia aircraft and they are retiring JQs oldest owned aircraft to Network whilst JQ taking the whole 3K fleet. Lines up with Network getting the aged equipment historically. VQF and VQM still registered to Jetstar but now painted in QLink colours.

Jetstar could probably move all its international flights over alongside virgin. They really only transfer onto domestic networks anyway would work well.

Those Dash 8 turnarounds they do are tough. In at 8/9pm then out again at 6/7am. Crew probably only get 5/6 hours sleep. I see Virgin do much longer, ie in late but out the next afternoon, or in during the arvo, and out first thing next morning.

Are these just proposals that will never see the light of day? I recall seeing a plan probably a decade ago that had intentions to join the terminals or something. The airport has done nothing in a long time, this T2 current upgrade is about a decade too late.
