The QFF points are the main reason I do most of my grocery shopping at Woolworths. Parking outside our nearby Coles is easier, and they keep their checkouts better staffed. It will be an easy switch if they do cut off the points.

I travelled BA London to Amsterdam in late May. At that time, on that route, there was a very short electronic device ban at each end of the flight.

It is more like 20 mins. I guess whether that's "very similar" depends how addicted you are to your devices. (BA used to have the ban in place for the same period that Qantas still does, but they have reduced it substantially - perhaps it's even 5 mins now: much shorter, anyway).

You can use points to request an upgrade on a flight booked by a travel agent, but you can only do so after the flight has been ticketed and paid for.
