QF have just told P1 that BA F dining is available to them at JNB, wouldn’t be doing that if it wasn’t the QF partner lounge.

I have seen corporate quotes from FCM that have a discount on QR. Perhaps this same discount isn’t available on the VA ticket number.

I plugged your dates into Avis with my AWD and the total cost for a full size car at MCY returning same location was under $300.

I have been moved to QF9 at the MEL J lounge when my flight was delayed.

Is that what you asked them though? They have said the transferred Avios will have a new expiry date. That doesn’t mean any remaining Avios will also reset due to a transfer occurring of a small amount to a different account.

Yes it’s a technical limitation. Haven’t tried to transfer one for QF3/4 at AKL (I have at SIN) but I would imagine it would be the same limitation.

He can only use the pass at LHR. It’s not possible to use a lounge pass at SIN on either QF1/2 as a direct SYD/LHR and vv.

The OP is flying QF F IIRC so quite likely to be in that select few.

Have done multiple transits BNE INT to DOM recently, all very easy and super quick on the bus.

But the footwell in the front row is much bigger. So if that is a concern, choose front row and BYO ear plugs.

Recently earned my first (and possibly last) one of these. Any tips or tricks for what would be a good use of it ? Was hopeful of PE-J or J-F on SYD-LHR return but that seems wishful thinking given the lack of suitable revenue class to upgrade to.

Just FYI you don’t get a card as foreign passport/ resident. Doesn’t matter most places. Only been stopped once at ORD by someone sorting queues to show it Told her I don’t have or need one and kept moving.

Considering they won’t be able to handle anything bigger than a 737 as they ran out of money for the apron upgrades I wouldn’t be holding my breath for KL.
