I fully support @Mattg proposal and have voiced that opinion on multiple threads here over the years. It would add a degree of transparency to points redemption and fulfill the 'social contract' that you have a chance of redeeming a classic rewards seat on any flight. Currently I highly doubt...
Not sure how many actual SA origin players in the SA team. Certainly Ben Manenti, Liam Scott, Jason Sangha, Henry Thornton, Henry Hunt and Nathan McAndrew are all from NSW.
I remember it well - 350/75. Had to spend 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne and broke them up into 3 separate bookings to maximize credits. Could do with a repeat offer as Mrs SS needs to spend a couple of nights there again in mid-May.
Mrs SS has earnt a Qantas award choice of 50SCs or 8k points. She has already maxed out on the 20k points from flying but wonder if the award points will count towards PC qualification or whether they count in the flying bucket. Anyone know for sure?
I have an acquaintance who spends his life converting (or trying to) taxable super into non-taxable. He is particularly bitter that super growth income is treated as a taxable component. I have told him so many times to just enjoy his retirement.
My son successfully arrived in Mexico. Both flights were on time and luggage was automatically transferred. He got the Skylink between terminals to get the AA flight.
