    You definitely need to get onto a better card for your next overseas trip. Then you just get cash out at any normal atm, like in the millions of 7-11 around Japan etc. would save about 10% going off that machine rate

    If it does, it will usually start being printed on statements upcoming. I don’t understand why everyone is hand wringing over “not being informed” as if this isn’t how pretty much every card operates. Once the first few statements this year come out I’m sure we’ll know if there’s something in them.

    Maybe find a boutique agent who is interested? Problem for them is there is very little commission, which is also why the corporates are so terrible, I assume.
