Recently moved out of the second and into the 3rd bracket so into the norm....... But as of yesterday when my DSC's post i'll be SG for the first time :)
Just wondering if there are any tips to getting status credits when not immediately credited with Velocity?
I'm with QFF but my father decided to go VFF, so far 3 months to get Etihad first class credits to post only half a domestic return trip to Sunshine Coast from Melbourne on a recent trip...
I booked my double SC flights but subsequently changed them to J flights outside of the original booking period do you think this will still be counted?
In my experience unless your sure of your dates never buy a sale fare, always buy the max bundle then you have fully flexible fares that are refundable and or changeable. A sale fare+max bundle and a non sale fare+max bundle will be exactly the same price.
I agree, the hanging system is not ideal, My ipad 1st generation has quite a good rubber case from apple, but it was discontinued for the subsequent models, this was actually superior to the Qantas supplied cases.
Flew Mel-Syd in VH-OGR seat 3K last night, the refurb looks good, ipads were loaded and working. Seat comfort is still streets ahead of domestic J or JQ Star class. Even better than FJ J.
I was rang by QFF today and told that the claim was in the system and she would call when the result came in... Just logged on and the 15000 have been credited. Yay!
I like mine Medium rare at a restaurant. But like Simon mentions about experimenting, I mostly get Rib Eye on the bone and slow roast at 65deg for 3 hours turning every 30 minutes till internal temp hits between 55-60 deg depending on preference. let rest for at least 30 minutes then a guick 2...
I stayed at the Movenpick Sentosa in 2011 in the new wing while under construction. There were a few teething problems such as intermittent air-conditioner operation no room service and a temporary restaurant. Which would all be Ironed out by now, very comfortable rooms, beds and great staff.
I bought mine on the 26/12 used them effortlessly on the 26/12. No points by 21/01 rang them told me that the wait might be up to 8 weeks. Called today put through to 3 different operators then told that they will call me with a result soon.
There is a temporary fix which is a titanium box containing the batteries with tubes venting outside the aircraft.... Though it must be noted it is yet to be approved, and will obviously add weight. With so much at stake a solution will be found sooner rather than later.
If you notice they say they are refurbishing 10 A333 and 20 A332 when they currently only have 9 A332 in the mainline fleet. That would indicate JQ aircraft coming back to QF mainline as the 787 is introduced.
