Hey all Im contemplating between UA PE or econ with emergency exit seat addition. I am KF Gold and don't particularly care for food on the plane. I hate lining up and waiting, but the PE ticket is about $2k USD more than economy. My question is UA PE worth the extra $2k? or just suck it up...

In *theory* you could pay yourself (or related busines) then record it as refund and pay back the amount via bank transfer. The risk with paying yourself is 1. ATO 2. (not sure if mentioned) is GST, which you cant claim back so makes it pretty expensive I never tried the above or advocating it...

I have a few flights planned in business and first class with my recently turned 2 year old. She will have her own seat but what happens during take off and landing? Particularly when flying Emirates, Etihad and Singapore? Can I have her in my lap?

Disagree. There is still some great value to be had especially at the more aspirational resorts and if you are staying 5 nights. Using Sniip fee + this transfer, St Regis Maldives 5 nights would have cost $3k next year vs $11k USD rack rate. You need to search more, but value is still there
