    Polaris Lounge Access Question

In short yes. The Polaris lounge at LAX T7 was near empty a few years back. Being Spring Break post CoVid, the United Club was manic but we were redirected to the Polaris lounge on an international business ticket on route to Hawaii . Absolute bliss but things have no doubt changed.

This afternoon's outing for the Nutt's was the City of Melbourne Bowles Club in Flagstaff Gardens (since 1879) for a round of bare foot bowles. Great afternoon in an amazing location. We all walked away vowing to do this again.

Believe the Epsom's been around for a while but to be honest Fly I'm not sure of it's history. What I do know is it was a cracker day weather wise, the views were amazing and venue is well worth visiting.

Sadly the Canada trip's come to an end and after 25 odd hours and a day lost we're back home. What holiday? We flew economy with Fiji Air from Vancouver to Canberra via Nadi. The service and food offerings on the first leg was pretty average however the second was fine. We did however manage to...

As seen from the Hullo terminal Nanaimo, logs floated and towed into position being load onto a ship. It quiet a sight to see the loading teams skip over logs, chain them wtc with ease. As the log numbers decrease, the little tug zips around mustering the remaining log into bundles. What a job!

Seaplane traffic in Canada Bay. Mostly tourist flights but there are RPT flights to various towns on Vancouver Island. One in, two out.

Yesterday's office call, lunch at the Lighthouse Bistro and Pub, Nanaimo. Great views over a couple of bevies and an awesome New York cut sirloin with garlic butter. Sea planes are a very common (and practical) method of transport in the region. Also frequently see a HeliJet S76 shuttling...

The fires around Vancouver while limiting visibility of the hills etc also provide some great photo opportunities. Parq hotel casino area. Somewhere in central Vancouver.
