Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Well I realised I absolutely cooked it. Transferred some points from a hotel chain at the start of the promo over to qantas, and was wondering why they didn't show up in my points club balance. They've come through as dated on 30 september - probably based on the date in the US when I hit...

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

I'd be disappointed if it does, was thinking the shopping might be easier to complete if it came under food. Don't drink, and don't really want to take out a youfoodz or hellofresh sub.

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

@AFF Editor is this infographic publicly available or was it in a media kit? The matching section of the website and certianly the T&Cs don't list binge or kayo. Would be good if the T&Cs were consistent with this...

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Well, I won't be getting the SCs via home insurance - $500 more expensive than my comparison current policy with as close to like for like as possible.

Ok so one month for 1k points, $20 or so, $2/sc is a decent earn rate.

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

I would, if it counted for this offer in the entertainment section, being $2 per SC or so. But it seems to be hoyts only... Exactly. With no behaviour change, cards and banking (cc) and food (everyday rewards points banked) will come easily. Fuel will depend on BP promos. Even if i swap to...

BP probably likely to as well. Not going to be taking ubers to the airport for fun - IMO uber is either the most convenient way to get there or its not, earning points doesn't change that equation for me.

Pay Points to Extend Qantas Status

So, the 'average of last three years' extension isn't a thing anymore - at least for me. Thought I'd wait it out to check; earned just over 4200 over the last three years (averaging just over 1400 per year) but reset to zero and dropped straight to gold on the first day of my new membership year...

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Finally, an offer that works well for people whose membership years start in October! throw in a compulsory booking fee per ticket and you're getting close yes, keep an eye on the various promos from BP - often a few hundred points or 2x, 4x. Swapping up to premium fuel a couple of times might...

Points earn on building a house

My builder accepted visa or mastercard with no fee. Each time, had a transfer ready to click submit to overpay the card, called the builder to ask if all ok, they said yes, i hit confirm, then supplied card number and they deducted it immediately. Had a nice holiday or two out of it!

    NBN Discussion

The AVC was listed on the Aussie broadband portal and I needed to enter it into superloop during the sign up phase (the second time). It still didn't activate automatically (can't have two 1000 down services on the old NTDs, and they chose not to override my current service). But after giving...

Optus new $50 SIM only with roaming

Just updating my earlier post, optus prepaid seem to have updated their roaming plans: 1 Day $5: still 1gb, 25 minutes/50 sms 14 days $25: 5gb, 50/50 28 days $45: 10gb, 100/100 186 days $75: 15gb/ 100/100 It feels 'not quite right' to me; if you're away that long and want to avoid using wifi...

Moved from ABB to superloop to take advantage of the $85 on 1000/100 (with 6 month discount) plus $95 cashback at topcashback. My previous $109 for 12 months with ABB was about to expire. Seem to have seen a drop in sustained download speeds vs what I used to experience. Off peak on a sunday...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Imo, there's something very "I want to get out of here as soon as possible" about a plane loo though; not quite the same as some on the ground. But people have different comfort levels...

Qantas - Why no WhatsApp or Chatbot?

Bankwest have an excellent implementation - asynchronous support via secure in app messaging that you can reply to when it works for you. Qantas' past efforts were similar and I found it quite helpful when making changes to flights while travelling and unable to sit on hold (nr at the time)...
