Currently MEL - DXB is showing 1 first seat on QFF on 11-14 March 2026 and 20-21 March 2026. I know from previous experience that Emirates updates seats at midday DXB time. So one would expect these to vanish at 6pm east coast time tomorrow maybe.

Aeroplan was the only other one which had access to F awards, usually huge amounts of points for this but much lower carrier charges. I'm not even sure there's the mechanism for them to restrict availability to QF elite members, QFF is set up so only QF inventory is limited by status. Everyone...

Still holding out hope that QFF isn't included and this is just a Skywards specific thing (not that likely I know) but I guess we'll find this out for sure very soon. They'd probably be within their right to restrict QF members though given QF preferences its own elite members.

Really devalues Qantas points. This was one of the best uses of them and EK J isn't remotely worth it given the carrier charges are the same. Also is a little odd as availability on EK F with QF points had been pretty good so it's not like there was a shortage. Wonder if we'll see exceptions eg...

Ah that's a bit annoying. Still, think with the other application restrictions elsewhere it's worth considering as an option.

You can transfer Accor points in your account to Qantas, but it's actually quite poor value to do this.
