Yeah but now Virgin (aka Bain) have trashed their frequent flyer program by moving towards a spend based status tier system....a lot of people like myself have become increasingly disengaged with the Velocity program. I have gone from Velocity Platinum---> Gold--> Silver-->Forever Red!

There was a problem with my TF...kept getting rejected. In the end, Amex did a manual TF for me. I received the 15% bonus at the same time.

Not an issue if you are just "using"their Gold Status. Even though I have Aeroplan for my Star G status, I can TF my HSBC points to any Star A partner :)

I just find it a bit over nationalisitc getting the Sq girls to perform when most are not Singaporeean...I asume they only chose the Singaporeans to perform ;)
