    Yeah, when I sat down the first thing that came into my head was "I could use a Chux and some S&W around this cabin". FAs usually get embarrassed when I bring this kind of stuff up, and I don't like doing that to them. No reply on twitter. so meh. Case closed.

    VA319 MEL-BNE breakfast. Omelette with smoked salmon pieces on top. Very nice, needs seasoning - salt and pepper gets it over the line. Alternate was bircher muesli, also a good choice.

    Re: Easy fix for VA - new 737 J class! Indeed. Just put new versions of those seats 737 fleet-wide - with IFE screens. Done, move onto next problem. Otherwise folks will again be complaining that they booked J in SYD-PER and ended up with the regular J and not the transcon J when irrops...

    MEL-CBR VA289 Dinner - beef short rib, quite nice. Cheese was way off. Strawberry polenta cake in a box was blergh. 1F had mushroom soup: You could have chicken on top if desired. Tasted OK. For such a short flight the service was good, however if you plan to eat make sure you're in row 1...

    I don't. Classes exist for a reason and we're glad for it. We pay much much more in points/dollars to have a nice quiet flight experience where waiting is for other people, from check-in to collecting the bags at the destination. The last thing I want is some first-time flyer interrupting my G&T...

    Total long shot - if you take the train between Brisbane and Caboolture, just before Carseldine on your right there is an auto wreckers. Inside you can/could see an old Bedford Ansett (with the last logo faded away) stair truck.
