Qantas / Emirates tie up (Partnership inc. Codeshare, Status)

Never flown EK's 777, sorry :( Because my final destination is not LHR, and flying QF to LHR then code share with BA to my final destination has been cheaper so far than flying EK to either LHR or CDG, and then code share with AF to my final destination. With this new code share, let's see what...

Qantas / Emirates tie up (Partnership inc. Codeshare, Status)

I'm a Y traveller. Will it be possible to fly SYD-DXB-LHR on EK, since their product is better than QF's, and earn the same amount of QFF points? What would be the point of flying QF on the first leg?

Earn points on a LH-marketed flight?

Hi guys, I bought a flight from Australia to Europe via Tokyo on Lufthansa.com. The SYD-NRT leg is operated by QF with a QF flight number. Do you think it's possible to earn QFF points on this segment? Cheers :)

    Liquids at layover

Thanks for the replies :) What I want to buy is a bottle of Bundaberg rum, which from what I've seen in older posts seems to be available at SIN. However my final destination is not LHR but a regional airport in France, which adds another screening :( (SYD-SIN-LHR-TLS) So even if I buy my...

    Liquids at layover

Hi :) I'm flying to Europe via SIN, and I'd like to buy a bottle of alcohol at the SYD duty free. Will I get in trouble at SIN when reboarding the plane, or the customs will be ok, since the bottle would have been bought and sealed at a duty free? Thanks for your answers!

They seem to have blocked the Amex on the Qantas shop, last time I tried there was an error saying that they only accept Visa and MasterCard :(

Which side of plane to see nice skylines? :)

Hi, I've got one quick (stupid?) question: I like to pick window seats to see nice views of the skylines I travel from/to :) I'll have to do quite a few QF31/32 flights (A380 SYD-SIN-LHR) in the coming years and I wonder which side will provide me with the best views of these 3 cities...
