That's my understanding of it, PCR seems to be 'backwards compatible' whereas RAT is not, due to other countries requirements. 1642566742 Good point didn't think of that whilst I was there!

Yes very true, luckily for us I had purchased a pack of RAT's when they first came out before the rush.

For Victoria we can either do a free pcr on return or a rat ourselves.

They were a bit overboard with the 'exposure sites' listing a whole outdoor beach as an exposure site for example. Feels like Melbourne in 2020/21 again. I guess this is their first outbreak, so maybe they will improve their approach over time.

I have the highest bundle available (Max bundle) which includes all seats.

Good news is JQ chat manually allocated us extra legroom seats in J seats, (non-exit row). Happy days.

Mine said the same today, I really don't mind what they call it as long as points come through promptly :D

Confirmed :( they class all extra legroom seats as exit rows even when some are not.

I am actually on a Max bundle so theoretically should be able to pick any seat for free. My suspicions are that I am travelling with an infant so not allowing me to select....

Hi all! Have an upcoming JQ 787 domestic flight MEL-SYD, the J seats are not selectable (or saleable) on this flight. Is there a way I can select the business seats either before hand or at the airport or do they just fly with them empty? Thanks! 😉

So in the end the issue was just dodgy QF website doing some funky business with the booking, my booking to NLK successful!
