Which lounge do TG use in PER

They're both pleasant enough, if nothing to write home about. SQ is recently refurbished and I did prefer the ambience there.

Which lounge do TG use in PER

I used both SQ and NZ for my afternoon departure last month, so I'm guessing you must be on the morning flight, in which case I expect they would send you to the Aspire lounge.

Qantas SCs with Cathay Business Light

I did BKK-HKG-AKL return last month on a 'Light' fare and got 400SCs. I would have credited to AA, but I needed (or, rather Madame needed) the additional OWE baggage allowances.

What is the statute of limitations on “never again”?

I've actively avoided BA Club World for about 14 years, albeit easier since they stopped flying to BKK.

SQ321 LHR-SIN Encountered Severe Turbulence [At least 1 Fatality and 30 Injured]

I had both ends of the spectrum last month on an Eva flight. Seat belt sign stayed for about three hours after departure and was totally ignored by passengers and cabin crew. I mentioned it, conversationally, to an FA who didnt seem too concerned and coincidence I'm sure, but it was turned off...

    QF P1 partner platinum

No SCs for either of us since pre-Covid. Just another QF anomaly I guess.

    QF P1 partner platinum

It may strain credulity around here, but Qantas can sometimes be inconsistent. My P1 expired last November, but Madame's partner P continues until October this year. ISTR that hers initially aligned with mine, but shifted to Oct some years ago, though I didn't pay it much heed at the time.

Seemingly trivial reasons why you choose one hotel/airline/shop over another

I like round numbers so I'll choose to pay $100 rather than $99.99 for the same product. Not that it's often an option these days.

Airport security confiscated an empty water bottle

Ancient history now, but ISTR that the original rationale was that evil-doers might use the empty bottle to combine their liquid bomb ingredients from smaller, compliant containers.

Do you leave a tip for hotel housekeeping?

Following the 'teach a man to fish' principle, I leave them a copy of this: https://www.allianceonline.co.uk/blog/2019/06/hotel-housekeeping-101-tips-tricks-for-clean-hotel-rooms/

Article: New Zealand Replaces Paper Arrival Cards with Online Declaration

A question for NZ regulars. Are there any particular pros or cons with on line/app vs paper declarations? Entrants will be on Thai passports with (permitted, I believe) food items to declare. I'm guessing electronic dec may be a little quicker.

    Seat poacher

Once, on an EK B777 and knowing we had the A/B seats in the front row of J, I didn't bother checking the seat numbers when we sat down. I was just thinking it was a little plusher than expected when the FA asked for our boarding passes and then discreetly ushered us back to the J cabin. I'd had...

Avianca LifeMiles – Bookings and Discussion

I tried whatsapp last week for a ticket revalidation and got nowhere. It's relatively painless though, so no harm in trying. Called the US number 1866 919 0081. It took 3 agents, but they sorted it eventually.

Avianca LifeMiles – Bookings and Discussion

I’m not sure if they notify you as there hasn’t been a change to my Thai booking as yet, but it’s a quick and easy way to view the details. I have another LM booking with EVA that had a 5 minute schedule change and that was flagged for attention on their app, whereas I hadn’t recieved any email...
